Built for the Baltimore City Fire Department by the Jakobson Shipyard Incorporated, Oyster Bay, Long Island, NY.

Placed in service with Engine Co. 48 in October of 1960. Served as Reserve Fire Boat 2 from 1972 until decommissioned in October of 1994.
