..In the years 1962 through 1965, Baltimore City received six of these Seagrave 100 foot tractor drawn aerial ladder trucks. They were the first trucks to have canopy cabs and be equipped with diesel engines. Some had the Detroit 6-71, and some had the Cummins NHF-265, both of 265 horse power. They were assigned to Truck Companies 1, 2, 4, 15, 16, and 23. Shown is Truck Co. 4's, placed in service during 1963.
